Simple Spreadsheet
Migrating and Converting Spreadsheets to SQL
Ginny ran a cleaning service which she had started in her front room. Progressing from a paper system to a spreadsheet. She realised that to stop her self from doing admin all the time she need something more sophisticated with client lists, client reports, cleaners, time slips, availability etc.
Community Connections took two separate spreadsheets and converted them into a management and work-flow system for her in less than a week at a cost of £1,200.
Now Ginny emails reports and invoices to clients and keeps tabs on her cleaners. Next she will be offering her clients a login to see cleaning schedules, invoicing and allow them to book specialised cleaning requirements.

Access Database
Migrating and Converting Access to SQL
Barry was using an Access database written by his partner's son five years ago. Frustration was just around the corner as it no longer could do what the business needed.
Community Connections took the database, restructured it, add some extra tables to deal with shipping and delivery costs and then delivered back a fully working system that was already web enabled. It also came with three level of users to allow for web users, office users and management.
“You can't believe what a relief it is to have our business processes back on track”

Onto the Web
Integrate office systems with your website.
Mary runs a flower shop and wants to allow her customers to order online. All her details were on a set of spreadsheets.
Community Connections took the sheets and set up a new system which allowed Mary to show flower selections and let her customers order online. It also kept track of her stock and ordering process.
What is more the whole system was put onto a web hosting facility costing about £50 a year to host and run – so no additional costs for computers.
“My customers can't get over how sophisticated we have become and I can do a lot of my work from home now.”
